Garment Care

Use Cold Water

Washing in cold water is not only better for the environment but also for your garments. This is particularly true for silk pieces, which should be rinsed in cold water preferably by hand. Using cold water will help reduce color fading and the use of electricity.

Hang Dry

Instead of opting for the dryer, try to hang dry when possible. This will prevent fiber degradation, maintaining the integrity of your one-of-a-kind garments.

Always hang dry silk!

Dry Clean Selectively

If “dry clean only” is indicated, it means the fabric or construction will not withstand washing. Please refrain to clean until you feel it’s absolutely necessary. When it’s time to dry clean, be sure to choose a certified environmentally-aware dry cleaner who avoids the use of harmful chemicals (e.g. perchloroethylene).
